Your Vagina as a Sacred Space©

The feelings of embarrassment about the vagina appear to stem from our social conditioning as females. As a result, we refer to the most sacred part of ourselves as “private”, “down there,” “ugly,” “gross”, “dirty,” “nasty” and “embarrassing.” In addition, we experience our bodies as being one of discomfort, shame and awkwardness. The vagina is a sacred part of the female body and is to be treated with respect and great care. It is to be honored for the life force that it is; the place from which we are all born. In Tantra, the word for vagina in Sanskrit is “Yoni” which means "sacred space" or "sacred temple." Unfortunately for many of us, it is within our “sacred space” that we carry wounds, blocks and inhibitions that prevent us from freely enjoying and understanding the wondrous gifts of our sexuality and our sexual creative energy. Tantra is about love. The love and acceptance of yourself as you were created. It is respecting and honoring your woman temple and soul. In this course women will examine the physical, spiritual and emotional aspects of sexuality.

Sex and Marriage©

Experiencing life through the soul of a woman is a gift from God. There is nothing more wonderful than having a sexual connection with your husband that is loving and God-honoring. A wife that fails to develop a healthy and wholesome sexual relationship with her husband is more likely to develop health issues, experience a lack of fulfillment and a sense of unhappiness. Regular sexual intimacy with your husband is important to your emotional, mental, physical and spiritual well-being. It helps to keep you young, vibrant, energetic and creative. As high achieving married women, we put our sexual connection with our husbands on the back burner denying ourselves the sexual and emotional love that we crave and desire. Conditioned to view the sexual connection with our husband as dirty, nasty, filthy and ugly and ourselves as fat and unattractive, we disconnect from this part of ourselves. As a result, we fail to reach our full potential as a lover and helpmate. In this course, participants will examine sexual taboos, fears and worries about the sexual connection and the human body. You will learn how to develop and create a more passionate and intimate relationship with your husband.

Dance as a Spiritual Practice©

Dance is a language that reunites the body, mind, and soul. Dance can be seen as a moving prayer or a doorway to the soul. The need for a spiritual connection through dance is brought about a woman's search and desire for deeper meaning in her life. Dance provides the woman with the energy needed to maintain a healthy, youthful and vibrant body. Combined with meditation, conscious breathing and the use of spiritual practices, participants will learn how to integrate the movements of faith, healing, and power into their daily lives. Dance as a spiritual practice is designed to help women move toward wholeness in their relationship with themselves, their bodies and God through music.
